B.J. Hollars ist ein Juniorprofessor für Creative Writing an der Universität Wisconsin - Eau Claire. Er ist Autor von „Thirteen Loops: Race, Violence and the Last Lynching in America“ (University of Alabama Press, 2011) und Herausgeber von “You Must Be This Tall To Ride” (Writer’s Digest Books, 2009), “Monsters: A Collection of Literary Sightings (Pressgang, 2012) und “Blurring the Boundaries: Explorations to the Fringes of Nonfiction” (University of Nebraska Press, 2012).

Seine Arbeit wurde oder wird in Kürze veröffentlicht in: North American Review, American Short Fiction, Barrelhouse, Mid-American Review, Fugue, Faultline, The Southeast Review, DIAGRAM, Hayden’s Ferry Review, Puerto del Sol, Hobart und anderen.

Er lebt mit seiner Frau, seinem Hund und ihren Büchern in Wisconsin.
